      Abundance of nature well preserved on the island was not touched by the war or devastating  Tsunami. Comparing to Indian colours Sri Lanka can be characterised by the silver monsoon sky and emerald greenery with touches of whites from the walls of temples and colonial fairy-tale styled  houses.
